HEAD CHEF / CULINARY LEAD

THE VIBE:
Fast-casual dining, beer-forward menus, ingredients that highlight the region, and a nod to influences from around the beer loving community. Think handcrafted but unfussy. Approachable with a twist. Served with a side of Great Lake views. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Dream up and develop our sandwich-based menus that celebrate the region and the broader beer-loving universe.             

  • Build and support a small-but-mighty kitchen team (scheduling, staffing, training, and setting the tone for a positive, balanced workplace)

  • Menu planning and development featuring local ingredients whenever possible                                 

  • Handle ordering, inventory, and keep a sharp eye on food costs

  • Lead the charge on food safety (HACCP knowledge required)

  • Set the bar for kitchen culture—collaborative, respectful, and always a little inspired

MUST-HAVES:

  • Prior experience running a kitchen (you’ve danced this dance before)

  • A knack for both logistics and imagination

  • Willingness to work weekends (especially as we get rolling)

HOURS:
Open daily 11 AM to 10 PM — Expect hands-on / weekend hours especially in the early stages of opening.


COMPENSATION & PERKS:

  • Starting salary: $50,000

  • Two weeks PTO

  • Profit sharing and benefits in development as we grow
